Who you are dealing with
This website is operated by Tokan Labs, incorporated in Singapore. Using the site means you accept these terms. If you do not, please stop using it.
What this site is
Marketing material. The descriptions of Map, Build, and Loop, the prices shown, the timelines quoted, and the example engagements are all illustrative. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance, and nothing here creates a contract between us.
Example engagements described on this site are composites written to show the shape of the work. They are not claims about named clients.
Prices and timelines
Statements such as “first demo in 7 days” or “two-week sprints” describe typical cases, not guarantees. This site publishes no prices. Your price, scope, timeline, and any guarantee is whatever appears in the written quote we send you and you sign. If the site and your signed quote disagree, your signed quote is correct.
What you send us
Do not send confidential information through the contact form. Use it to tell us enough to have a first conversation, and we will put an NDA in place before you send anything sensitive. Information you do send through the form is handled as described in our privacy policy.
You keep ownership of anything you send us. You grant us permission to read it and use it for the purpose of responding to your enquiry, and nothing else.
Intellectual property
The content, design, code, and marks on this site belong to Tokan Labs. You may read it, share links to it, and quote it with attribution. You may not copy the site wholesale or pass our material off as your own.
Ownership of work we build for clients is settled the other way around, and is covered in the engagement agreement: our clients own their code and their IP outright.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to break, probe, overload, or gain unauthorised access to this site.
- Do not scrape the site to build a competing directory or to harvest contact details.
- Do not submit the contact form with false details or use it to send unsolicited sales messages.
Third-party links
Where we link out, we do not control what is at the other end and are not responsible for it.
Liability
This site is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of it or your reliance on anything published here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when we last did. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about this website. Engagement agreements may specify different governing law, and where they do, they control the engagement.
